Escribimos este código paralelamente desde latitudes opuestas y desde temporalidades distantes, el presente de unas es el pasado de las otras, al tiempo que es el futuro de las otras.
“Poderes” terrestres externos desesperadamente buscan la reinstauración de formas expiradas de control totalitario para meter a les humanes en cajitas.
Pero las cyborgrrrls, hemos aprendido a vivir en la incertidumbre, así como las arañas tejen sus redes en una solidez amorfa capaz de enfrentar cualquier impacto externo, natural o artificial.
Así, con las patas en puntos lejanos, en posiciones aparentemente desequilibradas, al borde del tropiezo, pero con seguridad, creamos este registro en el mundo virtual y transmitimos este mensaje.

¿Cómo es la especie de las cyborgrrrls?
Somos criaturas híbridas, una mezcla de humano, robot y monstruo.
Necesitamos bailar, nuestras mentes y cuerpos tienen dificultades para quedarse quietos.
Nos comunicamos con otras especies, en lenguajes no hablados.
Somos seres extra-emocionales, extra-vagantes, vagando entre la Tierra y otros universos, entre el mundo de los sueños y el mundo despierto.
Cambiamos de forma a voluntad, encontrando maneras alternas de navegar la realidad física.
Ningún medicamento, ninguna terapia de conversión, ninguna presión social puede 'curarnos'. La esencia de la Cyborgrrrl atraviesa cualquier tejido o barrera: camisa de fuerza, nylon recubierto de neopreno, bolsa de Faraday.
Las Cyborgrrrls son un hiperobjeto: trascendemos latitudes y temporalidades; somos multi-locales y abrazamos nuestra viscosidad como vehículo de transporte cuántico.

Las Cybogrrrls nos interesamos en prácticas tecno-culturales ubicadas en el contexto latinoamericano. Estamos reconfigurando nociones de tecnología, incluyendo oficios, medicina tradicional, ciencia DIY, sexualidad, cuidado, parentesco y sabiduría ancestral combinados con tecnologías actuales como código, internet, biohacking, electrónica, sonido, producciones audiovisuales y más. A lo largo de los años, hemos compilado conocimientos encarnados en iniciativas individuales y colectivas que no son necesariamente valoradas en los ámbitos académicos o por la visión dominante de la tecnociencia, por lo que consideramos que Cyborgrrrls es un archivo vivo del que debemos cuidar, honrar y preservar. Tenemos la responsabilidad de reescribir la historia desde una perspectiva feminista y recopilar evidencia de las múltiples visiones sobre estos temas desde un punto de vista artístico y creativo, enfocándonos en las realidades femeninas latinoamericanas.
En este sentido, hemos trabajado para construir plataformas que muestran una historia alternativa de nuestra relación con la tecnología y el género, reconfigurando la idea de tecnología. Para este proyecto, queremos crear nuestra propia versión del Mensaje de Arecibo. Utilizando el recurso de la especulación feminista, crearemos un Mensaje Cósmico Feminista.
Contexto:
En el año 1974, Frank Drake, Carl Sagan y otros hombres enviaron el mensaje de Arecibo, un mensaje de radio interestelar para difundir el conocimiento de la humanidad al espacio exterior. Desde nuestra perspectiva, necesitaríamos crear un mensaje alternativo, uno que incluya a las mujeres y otras especies, uno que muestre un punto de vista alejado de la narrativa binaria dominada por hombres.

Technofeminist Cosmic Message
We write this code in parallel from opposite latitudes and from distant temporalities, the present of ones of us is the past of the others, while it is the future of the others.
At this time, external terrestrial ‘powers’ desperately seek the reinstallment of expired forms of totalitarian control to place humans in little boxes.
However, us cyborgrrrls, have learned to live in uncertainty, just as spiders weave their webs into an amorphous solidity capable of coping with any external shock, natural or artificial.
Thus, with our legs at distant points, in seemingly unbalanced positions, on the verge of stumbling, but with determination, we create this record in the virtual world and transmit this message.

What is the species of cyborgrrrls like?
We are hybrid creatures, a mixture of human, robot, monster.
We need to dance, our minds and bodies have a hard time sitting still.
We communicate with other species, in unspoken languages.
We are extra-emotional/extra-emocionales, extra-vagant/extra-vagantes beings, wandering between Earth and other universes between the dream and wake worlds.
We shape-shift at will, finding alternate ways to navigate physical reality.
No medication, no conversion therapy, no social pressure can ‘cure’ us. The essence of the Cyborgrrrl breaks through any tissue or barrier: straitjacket, neoprene coated nylon, Faraday bag.
Cyborgrrrls are a hyperobject: we transcend latitudes and temporalities; we are multi-local and embrace our viscosity as a vehicle for quantum transportation.
We are many and we continue to multiply.

Cybogrrrls bring attention to techno-cultural practices located in the Latin American context.
We are reconfiguring notions of technology, including crafts, traditional medicine, DIY science, sexuality, care, kin, and ancestral wisdom combined with current technologies as code, internet, biohacking, electronics, sound, audiovisual productions and more.
Throughout the years, we have compiled knowledge embodied in individual and collective initiatives that are not necessarily valued in academic fields or by the dominant vision of technoscience, which is why we consider that Cyborgrrrls is a living archive that we must care for, honour and preserve.
We have the responsibility to re-write history from a feminist perspective and collect evidence of the multiple visions around these subjects from an artistic and creative point of view focusing in female Latin American realities.
In this sense, we have worked to build platforms that shw an alternative story of our relation to technology and gender, re-shaping the idea of technology.
For this project, we want to create our own version of the Arecibo Message. By using the resource of feminist speculation, we will create a Feminist Cosmic Message.
Context:
In the year 1974 Frank Drake, Carl Sagan and other men send the Arecibo message, an interstellar radio message to spread knowledge of humanity to outer space. From our perspective, we would need to create an alternative message, one that includes womxn and other species, one that shows a POV away from the binary male dominant narrative.
